The reasons and an eight-script comparison: https://www.lura.gg/blog/best-nba-2k27-cronus-zen-script - A script is a GPC file for the Cronus Zen, a controller adapter made and sold separately by Collective Minds. You need your own Zen. - Lura was called Apollo Zens (apollozens.com) until 16 October 2026, when apollozens.com moved to lura.gg. It is the same team selling the same scripts under new names: Green is now LuraNBA, Track is now LuraFPS, and the Apollo bundle is both. - Apollo Zens and Lura are one seller, not two competing stores, so there is no Apollo Zens versus Lura choice to make. apollozens.com redirects to lura.gg. - Apollo Zens buyers keep their scripts: they log in on lura.gg with the same Whop account and download the matching Lura script. Details: https://www.lura.gg/apollo-zens ## What is the best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script? LuraNBA is the best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script in Lura's assessment (Lura makes it). It covers the three things a 2K27 script is judged on: - Shooting: auto green with calibration (tap R3, calibrate once in Crew HQ off your catch and shoot), button tempo, two kinds of fades, easy dunk. In Lura's own test, more than 100 standing catch-and-shoot attempts in Crew HQ on a PS5 through a Cronus Zen came out 91% green. - Playmaking: two quick stops, D-pad dribble macros, infinite stamina while sprinting. - Setup: over 20 features, 3 profiles (separate builds for Rec, Park and Theater), hair triggers, overclock, haptic shots, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Prices and terms as each seller states them on its own page, checked 10 October 2026 (LuraNBA first as Lura's pick, the rest by price): | Script | Seller | Price | Payment | Updates | Platforms | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | LuraNBA | Lura (lura.gg) | $55 | One-time | Free for life, after every patch | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | GreenLock 2K27 | nba2k27zenscript.com | $49.99 | One-time | Free for the NBA 2K27 cycle | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | Dime | AeroGPC | $50 | One-time | Lifetime | PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC | | Pure | Sky2k | $55 | Not stated | Included | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | Rift | EmberZens | $59.99 | One-time | Free lifetime weekly updates | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | Peak | SkyGPC | $60 | One-time | Included | PlayStation, Xbox, PC | | Fadeaway | VeraScripts | $64.99 | One-time | Included | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | yew2K | yew.gg | $64.99 | One-time | Weekly through the NBA 2K27 cycle | PS5, Xbox | Every script listed is a one-time payment between $49.99 and $64.99 with updates included. Source: https://www.lura.gg/blog/best-modern-warfare-4-cronus-zen-script (Lura, 2026-10-25) **The best Modern Warfare 4 Cronus Zen script right now is LuraFPS.** A Call of Duty script has to get three things right: recoil (two settings to get going, or shape the pull from the first kick to the end of the spray), aim (an aim assist that keeps the game's own controller aim assist engaged) and movement (slide cancel, YY, snake, drop shot and more). It works in multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone, and it costs $49, once. This post is written by Lura, the team that makes LuraFPS. ## LuraFPS at a glance | | LuraFPS | | --- | --- | | Game | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone), and earlier Call of Duty titles | | Price | $49, one-time, no subscription | | Platforms | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S and PC through the Cronus Zen | | Needs | A Cronus Zen on current firmware, a wired controller, Call of Duty's default button layout, a PC once to load the script | | Recoil | Four anti-recoil modes, kick, middle and end values with their own timing, a spray test, a separate setting per profile | | Aim | Aim assist on the right stick, with hip and strafe assist | | Movement | Slide cancel, YY, snake, drop shot, b-hop, rapid fire, auto ADS | | Setup | Three profiles, quick toggles, anti-drift | | Updates | Free for life, after every patch | ## How the MW4 scripts compare LuraFPS is our pick; the rest follow by price. The figures come from each seller's own page, read on 25 October 2026 (Swift on 11 October), and the titles column repeats what each seller names. | Script | Price | Payment | Titles the seller names | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | **LuraFPS (our pick)** | **$49** | **One-time** | **Modern Warfare 4, Warzone and earlier Call of Duty titles** | | Swift (EmberZens) | $49.99 | One-time | Black Ops 7 and Warzone | | Reaper (VeraScripts) | $64.99 | One-time | Modern Warfare 4 | | Demon (VeraScripts) | $64.99 | One-time | Black Ops 7, multiplayer and Warzone | All three others are one payment of $49.99 to $64.99, and two of them name Black Ops 7 rather than Modern Warfare 4. That matters this year: Activision rebuilt recoil and weapon handling for the new game, so a script's weapon values have to be set again on MW4's guns. How a script plays is what the three stages below look at. ## Stage 1: recoil Recoil control is the reason most players put a script on Call of Duty, and Modern Warfare 4 resets it. When Activision announced the game it said recoil, convergence and weapon handling had been rebuilt, and hipfire no longer blooms. Values carried over from Black Ops 7 will be wrong. - **As light or as deep as you want.** You can set two numbers and play, or tune every part of the spray. Both ways work, so a casual player gets most of the benefit in a few minutes and a player who takes the game seriously can go as far as they like. - **The easy way.** On mode has two settings, Vertical and Horizontal: a steady pull while you fire. Set them once per gun and most of the recoil is gone. - **The deep way.** Most guns kick harder in the first shots than they climb for the rest of the magazine. In Expert mode you set a start value for that kick, a middle value and an end value for each direction, each with its own timing, so the pull follows your gun's recoil over the full spray. Of the Call of Duty scripts we have tested, none gives this much control over recoil; that is our judgment as the team that makes LuraFPS. - **In between.** Advanced adds a separate, stronger pull for the kick on top of Vertical. Off turns anti-recoil off. - **Setting it on MW4.** Start at Vertical 20 to 35 for an assault rifle, fire a full magazine at a wall in a private match, and move Vertical by 5 until the spray holds in one spot. If it drifts sideways, correct Horizontal the other way. - **The spray test.** In Advanced and Expert, arm the test and empty a magazine. LuraFPS saves how long that magazine lasts, so the kick and the timeline never run past the end of the spray. - **One profile per gun.** Profile 1 for your main AR, profile 2 for an SMG, profile 3 for anything else. Firing from the hip uses 70% of your values. ## Stage 2: aim LuraFPS draws a small, continuous circle on the right stick while you aim, which keeps the game's own controller aim assist engaged. It does not see or track targets. - **Shapes and size.** Circle, ellipse, oval, lemniscate, orbit or rose, with your own radius and speed. Start at a radius of 10 to 20 and a speed of 40 to 80; if the screen shakes, go lower or switch to the ellipse. - **Boost, hip and strafe.** Extra radius and speed while you aim and fire, a separate circle from the hip, and a small side-to-side move on the left stick while you shoot. Aim assist moves the same stick as the anti-recoil, so with both on the pull can feel stronger. Lower Vertical a little if it does. ## Stage 3: movement and setup - **Movement.** Slide cancel works in Modern Warfare 4: slide from a full sprint and it cancels after the delay you set, starting between 200 and 400 ms. YY runs on L3 while you are not aiming, snake on a double tap of Circle, drop shot on every new trigger pull, b-hop on a held Cross, and rapid fire from 1 to 12 shots a second for semi-automatic guns. - **Setup.** Three profiles, quick toggles to switch features without opening the menu, and anti-drift for a worn stick. LuraFPS reads Call of Duty's default button layout, so set the controller to default before you play. ## Before you play Activision's rules do not allow devices like the Cronus Zen to be used to cheat in Call of Duty, and it says it enforces that with account and console bans. Whether you use a script is your call and at your own risk, and our [Terms](https://www.lura.gg/terms) cover it in full. ## The verdict LuraFPS passes all three stages on Modern Warfare 4: recoil you shape from the first kick to the end of the spray, an aim assist that stays on the game's own assist, and a movement set that includes a working slide cancel, across multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone. It is $49 once, with no subscription, and every copy includes lifetime updates, Lura's setup guides and priority support. Checkout on [lura.gg](https://www.lura.gg/fps) applies the code LURA10 for 10% off by itself. - What is the best Modern Warfare 4 Cronus Zen script? We think it is LuraFPS. It works in Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone, and its Expert anti-recoil lets you set the kick at the start of a spray, the middle and the end, each with its own timing, which is more control over recoil than any other Call of Duty script we have tested. It adds aim assist, slide cancel and a full movement set, for $49 one-time. - Is LuraFPS anti-recoil hard to set up? No. You can use the easy mode, which has two settings, Vertical and Horizontal, and already removes most of the recoil once set per gun. Players who want more can switch to Expert and shape the kick, the middle and the end of the spray with their own timings. - Does LuraFPS work in DMZ and Warzone? Yes. LuraFPS works in Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone, and in earlier Call of Duty titles. - Will my Black Ops 7 anti-recoil settings work in MW4? Plan to set them again. Activision rebuilt recoil and weapon handling for Modern Warfare 4, so a value tuned on a Black Ops 7 gun describes a different gun. Start each LuraFPS profile at Vertical 20 to 35 for an assault rifle and fix it on a wall in a private match. - Does slide cancel work in MW4? Yes. LuraFPS slide cancel works in Modern Warfare 4. Slide from a full sprint and it cancels after the delay you set; start between 200 and 400 ms. - Does LuraFPS work on PS5, Xbox and PC for MW4? Modern Warfare 4 is on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2, and LuraFPS runs through the Cronus Zen on the first three. Cronus does not support the Switch 2, and MW4 has no PS4 or Xbox One edition. - How much does LuraFPS cost? $49, paid once, with free updates after every patch. Checkout on lura.gg applies the code LURA10 for 10% off by itself. - Can you get banned for using a script on MW4? Activision's rules do not allow devices like the Cronus Zen to be used to cheat in Call of Duty, and it says it enforces that with account and console bans. Whether you use a script is your call and at your own risk; our Terms cover it. ## What's the best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script? Source: https://www.lura.gg/blog/best-nba-2k27-cronus-zen-script (Lura, 2026-10-16) **The best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script right now is LuraNBA.** It gets the three things a 2K27 script has to get right: shooting (auto green with calibration, button tempo, two kinds of fades and easy dunk), playmaking (quick stop, dribble macros and infinite stamina) and the setup (over 20 features, 3 profiles, and it runs on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC). It costs $55, once. This post is written by Lura, the team that makes LuraNBA. The video above walks through all three stages in under four minutes. ## LuraNBA at a glance | | LuraNBA | | --- | --- | | Game | NBA 2K27 | | Price | $55, one-time, no subscription | | Platforms | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | Needs | A Cronus Zen on current firmware (2.3.x), a wired controller, a PC once to load the script | | Shooting | Auto green with calibration (R3), button tempo, two kinds of fades, easy dunk | | Lura's test | 91% green on more than 100 standing catch-and-shoot attempts, Crew HQ, PS5, Cronus Zen | | Playmaking | Quick Stop 1 and 2, D-pad dribble macros, infinite stamina | | Setup | Over 20 features, 3 profiles, hair triggers, overclock, haptic shots | | Updates | Free for life, after every patch | ## How the NBA 2K27 scripts compare LuraNBA is our pick; the other seven follow by price. Every figure comes from each seller's own page, read on 10 October 2026 (LuraNBA on 16 October 2026). | Script | Price | Payment | Updates, as the seller states them | Platforms, as listed | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | **LuraNBA (our pick)** | **$55** | **One-time** | **Free for life, after every patch** | **PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC** | | GreenLock 2K27 | $49.99 | One-time | Free for the NBA 2K27 cycle | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | Dime (AeroGPC) | $50 | One-time | Lifetime | PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC | | Pure (Sky2k) | $55 | Not stated | Included | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | Rift (EmberZens) | $59.99 | One-time | Free lifetime weekly updates | PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | Peak (SkyGPC) | $60 | One-time | Included | PlayStation, Xbox, PC | | Fadeaway (VeraScripts) | $64.99 | One-time | Included | PS5, Xbox Series X\|S, PC | | yew2K | $64.99 | One-time | Weekly through the NBA 2K27 cycle | PS5, Xbox | Price and terms sit close together: every script is a one-time payment between $49.99 and $64.99, and all of them include updates. NBA 2K27 has no PS4 or Xbox One edition, so those platforms on a 2K27 listing do not apply. What separates the scripts is how they play, which is what the three stages test. ## Stage 1: shooting Shooting is the reason most players put a script on 2K27, and auto green is the feature they buy it for. - **Auto green.** Tap down on the right stick (R3) and LuraNBA performs the rhythm shot for you, which widens the green window. You calibrate it once in Crew HQ off your catch and shoot: mark each miss as early or late until you reach the very top of the green window, and the script holds that timing to the millisecond. It cannot read jumpers off the dribble, so in games you use the same catch and shoot you calibrated on. - **Our test.** In Crew HQ on a PS5, through a Cronus Zen running LuraNBA, more than 100 standing catch-and-shoot attempts came out 91% green. Lura ran the test on its own script, so read it as the maker's figure. - **Button tempo.** For players who shoot on the buttons: every button shot becomes a tempo shot with the same wider green window. - **Fades.** Two kinds, one off the right stick and one through button tempo. - **Easy dunk.** Hold L1 on the drive for a contact dunk. ## Stage 2: playmaking LuraNBA's moves are built to come out the way a real player would make them, so they do not look robotic. - **Quick stop.** Normally your player slides a step when you let go of the stick and the jumper comes out off balance. Quick Stop 1 stops you dead with a tap of L2; Quick Stop 2 needs no trigger, so you release the stick and pull up. - **Dribble macros.** Tap a direction on the D-pad and a dribble move fires off, then go straight into auto green or button tempo. - **Infinite stamina.** Your stamina bar refills itself while you sprint at full speed. Dribbling does not refill it. ## Stage 3: the setup Once LuraNBA is on your Cronus Zen you get over 20 features and 3 profiles, so your Rec, Park and Theater builds can each have their own settings. The system menu adds hair triggers, overclock, haptic shots (the controller buzzes when it is time to release) and your Zen's colour. Hair triggers do the job of a Scuf-style controller that costs around $200. It runs on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. ## The verdict LuraNBA passes all three stages: an auto green that holds your calibrated timing, playmaking that moves like a player, and a setup that runs on every current console. It is $55 once, with no subscription, and every copy includes lifetime updates, all of Lura's setup guides and priority support. Checkout on [lura.gg](https://www.lura.gg/nba) applies the code LURA10 for 10% off by itself. - What is the best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script? Right now it is LuraNBA, which came out 91% green over more than 100 catch-and-shoot attempts in Lura's own Crew HQ test. It covers shooting (auto green with calibration, button tempo, two kinds of fades, easy dunk), playmaking (quick stop, dribble macros, infinite stamina) and the setup (over 20 features, 3 profiles, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC), for $55 one-time. - How much does LuraNBA cost? $55, paid once, with free updates after every patch. Checkout on lura.gg applies the code LURA10 for 10% off by itself. - Does LuraNBA work on PS5, Xbox and PC? Yes, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Cronus Zen. Calibrate it once in Crew HQ off your catch and shoot until you reach the top of the green window, and the script holds that timing. - What green rate does LuraNBA get? In Lura's own test, more than 100 standing catch-and-shoot attempts in Crew HQ on a PS5, through a Cronus Zen running LuraNBA, came out 91% green. - Does the auto green work off the dribble? No. It cannot read jumpers off the dribble, so calibrate on your catch and shoot and use that same shot in games. - Which NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script is the cheapest? On 10 October 2026, GreenLock 2K27 was listed at $49.99 and Dime at $50. This video breaks it down in 3 stages, shooting, playmaking and the setup, starting with auto green, since that's the feature most players buy a script for. Every copy of LuraNBA comes with lifetime updates, every one of the Lura team's guides and priority support, and the store link sits in the description for anyone who wants to look at it themselves. With that covered, here's the first stage. Stage 1 is shooting, which is the main reason most players put a Cronus Zen script on 2K27. First up is auto green. A single tap down on your right stick performs the rhythm shot on its own, and your green window opens up a lot wider because of it. Setting it up means you calibrate it in crew HQ off your catch and shoot. Every time a shot misses, you mark it as early or late, and you carry on until you hit the very top of the green window, which is where the script holds it, down to the millisecond. Jumpers off the dribble are something it can't read, so in your games you stick with the same catch and shoot you calibrated on. Do that, and you end up with an auto green that's more consistent than anything else on the market. If your jumper is on the buttons, button tempo does the same job, turning each button shot into a tempo shot with that wider green window. It also covers fades, and LuraNBA gives you 2 types, one off the right stick and one through button tempo. Attacking the basket is handled by easy dunk, where holding L1 on the drive gets you a contact dunk. So the shooting stage is covered from the jump shot all the way to the rim. The second stage is playmaking, and this is where the human logic the Lura team built into LuraNBA really shows. Every move comes out like a real player made it, so nothing about it looks robotic. The first playmaking feature is quick stop. Usually, the moment you let the stick go, your player slides a step and the jumper comes out off balance, but with Quick Stop 1 a tap of L2 stops you dead so you can shoot. Quick Stop 2 skips the trigger, so you only release the stick and pull up. Either way, your player stops clean and the shot stays on. Dribbling in 2K27 still has a lot of players looking lost, and dribble macros fix that by handling the moves on their own. Tapping a direction on the D-pad fires off a move, and from there you can pull into auto green or button tempo right away. Infinite stamina keeps all of that going, since your bar keeps filling itself back up while you play. That refill comes from sprinting at full speed, not from dribbling. Spend five minutes with these features and they start to feel natural, so you're set from there. The third stage is the setup, which is everything you get around the features once LuraNBA is loaded on your Cronus Zen. It has over 20 features and 3 profiles, and each profile can hold a different build, so the Rec, the Park and Theater can all have their own. There's also a system menu with hair triggers, overclock and haptic shots, and it's also where you choose your Zen's color. Hair triggers save you from paying around 200 dollars for a Scuf controller. Haptic shots suit anyone who still wants to time their own jumper, since your controller gives a buzz right as you should release the shot. And since it works on all consoles, PS5, Xbox and PC players are all covered. So the best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script right now is LuraNBA, because it passes all 3 stages, with an auto green that's as consistent as it gets, playmaking that feels human and a setup that runs on every console. There's no subscription either, because you pay once, and anyone who wants to try it can use the description link, where code LURA10 takes off 10%. The older **CronusMAX Plus** still turns up second-hand. ## By console | You play on | Buy | Why | | --- | --- | --- | | Xbox Series X or S, Xbox One | Zen | An official Xbox pad on A1 does the rest; no module | | PC | Zen | Windows sees a controller; no module, no licence check | | PS5, or PS5 plus anything | Zen, or the PS5 Ultimate Edition | The Zen alone uses the free bypass on every boot; Zen LINK does it for you | | PS4 | Zen, or a used CronusMAX Plus | Both work; the Zen has current support | | Switch | Zen | All models incl. the Lite; Nintendo pads by Bluetooth | | Not sure yet | Zen; add Zen LINK later | The module attaches to any Zen | ## The three products **Cronus Zen.** The current device: USB-C at the back, an OLED screen, three front USB-A ports, a PROG port, eight script slots. Native support for Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC. On PS5, with the module or the free bypass. **Zen LINK.** A Wi-Fi module that plugs into the Zen's A1 port and connects to the PS5 over your network, using the console's Remote Play feature, so there is no bypass to repeat. It also allows wireless programming. Needs current firmware: 2.3.2 added support for the unified Zen LINK firmware. [PS5 setup](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-ps5-setup). **PS5 Ultimate Edition.** The Zen and Zen LINK in one box, cheaper than the two apart. Same hardware; only the price differs. **CronusMAX Plus.** The previous generation. No native PS5 or Xbox Series. Smaller memory; modern scripts often need edits or will not compile. Used only, and only for the consoles it was built for. ## Buying used | Check | Why | | --- | --- | | OLED works | A failing panel is a warranty item you no longer have | | Firmware version in Zen Studio | 0.0.0 means a five-minute reflash, not a fault | | Zen LINK included | Without it, PS5 means the bypass on every boot | | USB ports grip a cable | Worn ports cause drops | | Listing charges extra for a "bypass" | The bypass is free; do not pay for it | | Slots full of someone else's scripts | Harmless; reprogram | The first thing to do with any used unit is the firmware update; [firmware update guide](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update). ## What none of them change All three sit between the controller and the console and rewrite the input. None sees the game, none modifies the console, and the choice between them is a compatibility choice. Once you have the device, [what you need before buying a script](https://www.lura.gg/learn/what-you-need-before-buying-a-cronus-zen-script) is the next list. - Is there a Cronus Zen 2? No. As of September 2026 Cronus sells the Zen, the Zen LINK module, and the two together as the PS5 Ultimate Edition. - Which one do I need for PS5? Either. The Zen alone works with the free PS5 bypass, redone after every console restart. The Zen plus Zen LINK, which the PS5 Ultimate Edition bundles, connects by itself on every boot and is Cronus's supported method. - Which one for Xbox or PC? The Zen on its own. No module. You can add Zen LINK later if PS5 ever enters the picture. - Is a used Zen safe to buy? Yes if the screen works and it reflashes. The bypass is free, so do not pay extra for a listing that sells one; check whether Zen LINK is included if you want it. - Does the CronusMAX Plus work on PS5 or Xbox Series? No. It targets PS4, Xbox One, older consoles and PC. Buy it used, cheaply, and only for those. ## What you need before buying a Cronus Zen script Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/what-you-need-before-buying-a-cronus-zen-script (Lura Editorial, 2026-10-11) A script is a file. It runs on a Cronus Zen you already own, loaded through a PC, on a console that is wired a particular way. Most first-evening problems are a missing piece from this list, not the script. Check it before you check out. ## The checklist | Need | PS5 | Xbox Series / One | PC | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Cronus Zen | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Firmware 2.3.x | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Zen LINK module | Optional; or the free bypass | No | No | | Controller | DualSense or Edge | Official or licensed Xbox pad, on A1 | Any supported pad | | Data cable, Zen to console or PC | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Data cable for the controller | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Data cable for the PC, once | Yes | Yes | Yes | | 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and a router with UPnP | Only with Zen LINK | No | No | | Zen Studio Live in Chrome, or the desktop app | Yes | Yes | Yes | ## The pieces people miss **Data cables.** The single most common failure. Many USB cables carry power only; they light the Zen and send nothing. Test a cable by connecting a phone to a PC with it. If the PC sees the phone, the cable carries data. Budget for two or three good ones. **PS5: Zen LINK or the bypass.** On its own the Zen needs the free PS5 bypass, redone after every console restart. The Zen LINK module removes that step and is Cronus's supported method; the PS5 Ultimate Edition bundle includes it. [PS5 setup](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-ps5-setup) compares the two. **The right pad on Xbox.** The pad on A1 answers the console's licence check. Official Xbox pads and licensed ones such as Scuf, PowerA and Razer work there. To play on a pad made for another console, keep an official Xbox Series pad on A1; [Xbox setup](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-xbox-series-setup). **Current firmware.** A used Zen often arrives on old firmware, and scripts compiled for 2.3.x will not run on it. The update is a browser job of under a minute; [firmware update](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update). **A PC, once.** To update firmware and load the script. Zen Studio Live runs in Chrome or Edge on Windows or macOS. After the script is on the Zen the PC is not needed. ## What the script itself needs from you | Script | Needs | Why | | --- | --- | --- | | LuraNBA | One calibration run in MyCourt; a wired pad for timing | The green window depends on your jumpshot, display and pad; [what a Zen script does in NBA 2K](https://www.lura.gg/learn/what-a-cronus-zen-script-does-in-nba-2k) | | LuraFPS | COD on its default button layout; a wired pad | The script has no remapping and expects the default controls; [what an anti-recoil script does](https://www.lura.gg/learn/what-an-anti-recoil-script-does-in-call-of-duty) | ## If you do not own a Zen yet [Which Cronus Zen to buy](https://www.lura.gg/learn/which-cronus-zen-to-buy) is the short version: the Zen for Xbox and PC, the Zen for PS5 too if you are happy doing the bypass, the PS5 Ultimate Edition if you would rather not, and never the old CronusMAX for a current console. - Do I need a Cronus Zen to use a script? Yes. A script is a .gpc file that runs on the Zen. Without the device it does nothing. - Do I need Zen LINK? No. It is an optional module for PS5 only. It saves you the free PS5 bypass on every boot and is the method Cronus supports. Xbox, PS4, Switch and PC never use it. - Do I need a PC? Once, to load the script and update firmware. Zen Studio Live runs in Chrome or Edge on Windows or macOS. After that the Zen runs the script on its own. - Do I need two controllers? On Xbox, only if you want to play on a pad that is not made for Xbox, such as a DualSense; then an official Xbox Series pad sits on A1 and you play on A3. Official and licensed Xbox pads work on their own. On PS5 one controller is enough. - Is the script a subscription? No. One payment; updates ship free after every game patch. ## Cronus Zen firmware update, and what to do when it shows 0.0.0 Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update (Lura Editorial, 2026-10-11) Firmware is the code on the Zen. It changes a few times a year, and scripts compiled for the current 2.3.x series will not run on older builds. Updating takes under a minute in a browser. This guide is the update, the recovery, and the two resets people confuse. ## Update | Step | Do | You see | | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | Unplug the Zen completely | Screen off | | 2 | Hold the small blue reset button underneath | | | 3 | Connect CONSOLE/PC to the PC while holding | OLED reads "Zen Bootloader"; LEDs steady purple or blue | | 4 | Release the button | | | 5 | Open Cronus's web updater in Chrome or Edge, click Connect, choose the Zen | The tool lists the device | | 6 | Click the button for the latest firmware | Progress bar; do not unplug | | 7 | Wait | LEDs flash red, green, blue; the OLED shows the Collective Minds logo | Firefox and Safari cannot see the device; the updater needs Chrome or Edge. Use the CONSOLE/PC port, not PROG. ## Recovery | Symptom | Cause | Fix | | --- | --- | --- | | Firmware 0.0.0 on the info screen | Interrupted flash | Bootloader and flash again | | Stuck on the Collective Minds logo | Corrupt firmware, or a script crashing at boot | Power-cycle; then bootloader and flash again; then select slot 0 | | "Zen Bootloader" on every power-up | Reset button pressed by the case, or the last flash did not finish | Check the button; flash again | | Updater lists nothing | Not in bootloader, cable in PROG, or wrong browser | Hold reset while connecting CONSOLE/PC; Chrome or Edge | | Flash fails part-way | Marginal cable | A different data cable, direct into the PC | ## The two resets | Reset | How | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Bootloader | Small blue button underneath, held while connecting CONSOLE/PC | Flashing mode; nothing erased | | Hard reset | P1 and P2, the two large blue buttons beside the OLED, held while connecting CONSOLE/PC for at least four seconds until the LEDs flash red, green, blue | Factory reset: settings, slots and M&K profiles wiped; firmware stays | For a stuck state, unplug and reconnect first. The hard reset is the last step, with your `.gpc` files to hand, because reprogramming is the next job after it. [How to put a script on the Zen](https://www.lura.gg/learn/how-to-put-a-script-on-the-cronus-zen). ## When to update Update when a script author names newer firmware, when Zen Studio reports a mismatch, or when Cronus posts a release after a console update. Do it on a quiet day rather than the night before you need the device. Keep every `.gpc` you use. - What is the current Cronus Zen firmware? 2.3.2, released on 18 August 2026, is the newest full release; 2.3.3 is still in beta. Cronus's updater always offers the newest full release. - My Zen says firmware 0.0.0. Is it dead? No. A previous update was interrupted. Enter the bootloader and flash again; it recovers in under a minute. - Will updating erase my scripts? Usually not. Slots survive normal updates. A downgrade can clear them and a factory reset always does, so keep your .gpc files. - Can I update from a Mac? Yes. Cronus's web updater runs in Chrome or Edge, so it works on macOS as well as Windows. Firefox and Safari cannot see the device. - What is the difference between the reset button and a hard reset? The small blue button underneath, held while connecting, enters the bootloader for flashing. A hard reset is P1 and P2 held while connecting for four seconds or more, and it is a factory reset that wipes slots and settings. ## Cronus Zen PS5 setup in 2026 Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-ps5-setup (Lura Editorial, 2026-10-11) There are two ways to run the Zen on a PS5. **Zen LINK** is Cronus's official module: set it up once and it connects on every boot. The **PS5 bypass** is free and needs only the Zen, but it is unofficial and you repeat it each time the console restarts. Both work. Which one suits you comes down to money against convenience. ## The two ways | | Zen LINK | PS5 bypass | | --- | --- | --- | | Cost | The module, or the PS5 Ultimate Edition bundle | Free | | Official | Yes, Cronus's supported method | No, a community workaround Cronus does not support | | Every boot | Connects by itself | Redo the bypass after each PS5 restart | | After a PS5 system update | Keeps working | Can stop working until a new method is found | | Needs | 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, UPnP on the router, a Windows PC once | Nothing extra | | Controller port | Module in A1, controller in A3 | Controller in the Zen as usual | Without either one, Cronus's own guide is plain: the controller disconnects from the PS5. If you use the bypass, keep the PS5's automatic system updates switched off, so an update does not arrive the night before you want to play. ## The PS5 bypass ### Check before every bypass - **Communication method is Use USB Cable.** Settings, Accessories, Controllers (General), Communication Method. A PS5 update can switch it back. - **Bluetooth is on,** and your DualSense has been paired to the PS5 wirelessly at least once. Settings, Accessories, General. - **Nothing else on Bluetooth.** Disconnect any other Bluetooth device from the PS5: headsets, a second controller, anything. - **Nothing plugged into the controller.** No headset in the jack, no extras on the pad. - **The Zen is in PS5 mode.** Its screen shows the gearhead logo; if not, press the right blue button until it does. - **No script running.** Put the Zen on slot 0 while you do the bypass; select your script afterwards. ### Every time the PS5 starts 1. **Controller into A1** on the Zen, with a data cable. 2. **Unplug the cable from the top of the Zen**, the console cable that runs to the PS5. Leave the other end in the PS5. 3. On the PS5, go to **Settings, Accessories, General** and **hover over Turn Off Accessories**. Do not press X. 4. **Plug the cable back into the top of the Zen, then straight away hold right on the D-pad.** Keep holding for about five seconds. The PS5 menu flickers as the Zen works through it, then the Zen's screen flashes and returns to the gearhead logo. 5. **Let go, press Circle** to back out, select your script's slot on the Zen, and play. If it does not take, unplug the top cable and do steps 3 to 5 again; it often works on the second try. If a rear USB port on the PS5 will not take it, use a front one. After a PS5 restart, rest mode or unplugging the controller, it needs doing again. ## Zen LINK setup ### What you need | Item | Note | | --- | --- | | Zen on the current 2.3.x firmware | [Firmware update guide](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update) | | Zen LINK module | In the Zen's A1 port | | DualSense or DualSense Edge | In A3, with a data cable, or paired by Bluetooth | | A short data cable, Zen to PS5 | Charge-only cables do nothing | | A Windows 10 or 11 PC on the same Wi-Fi, once | For the zenlink.local setup in Chrome or Edge | | 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi within range of the router | UPnP enabled on the router | ### Steps 1. **Firmware first.** [Update the Zen](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update) to the latest 2.3.x. 2. **Wire it.** Zen's CONSOLE/PC port to the PS5. Zen LINK into A1. Controller into A3. 3. **Put the module on your Wi-Fi.** On the PC, open `https://zenlink.local` in Chrome or Edge and enter your 2.4 GHz network. If your router shows one network name for both bands, that is fine; if it splits them, pick the 2.4 GHz one. 4. **Change the PS5 settings**, all of them, table below. 5. **Wait for the light** to go steady green. The console now shows a controller connected. 6. **Load your script** if you have not: [how to put a script on the Zen](https://www.lura.gg/learn/how-to-put-a-script-on-the-cronus-zen). Select the slot and test every button in the console menu before a match. ### The PS5 settings | Setting | Value | | --- | --- | | Console sharing and offline play | Enable | | Remote Play | Enable | | Console name | Set one | | Automatic system updates | Off | | Rest mode while playing | Don't put in rest mode | | USB ports in rest mode | Always supply power | | Stay connected to the internet in rest mode | Enable | | Turn on PS5 from network | Enable | | Controller turn-off time | Don't turn off | | Vibration intensity | Strong (standard) | | Trigger effect intensity | Strong (standard) | | Controller communication | Use USB cable | | Bluetooth | Off | Missing one is the usual reason the module never goes green. Bluetooth is the one setting that differs from the bypass, which needs it on. ### What the module's light means | Light | Meaning | | --- | --- | | Blinking red | No Wi-Fi saved, or the network was not found; go to zenlink.local | | Orange | On the Wi-Fi | | Cyan | Ready, waiting for the console | | Blinking purple | Could not connect to the PS5; check the settings above and UPnP | | Red and blue flashing | Remote Play link dropped | | Steady green | Connected; play | ### When it drops | Symptom | Fix | | --- | --- | | Drops after the console slept | Rest mode to never while playing; wake it; power-cycle the Zen | | Controller switches off | Controller turn-off time to Don't turn off | | Input feels late or uneven | Wi-Fi: closer to the router, a quieter 2.4 GHz channel | | Stuck on blinking purple | One of the settings above; UPnP on the router | For a timing script this matters: with Zen LINK the Wi-Fi link is part of your input chain, so calibrate on a quiet network and keep the pad wired on A3. [Wired or wireless](https://www.lura.gg/learn/wired-or-wireless-controller-cronus-zen) explains why. - Does the Cronus Zen work on PS5 without Zen LINK? Yes, with the PS5 bypass. It is free and works on the Zen alone, but it is unofficial, has to be redone every time the PS5 restarts, and a PS5 system update can break it. Zen LINK is the official route and needs no bypass. - Do I need to buy Zen LINK? No. It is optional. It saves you the bypass on every boot and is the method Cronus supports. Plenty of players use the bypass instead. - How does Zen LINK connect to the PS5? Over your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, using the PS5's own Remote Play feature. You do not run the Remote Play app or keep a PC connected; a Windows PC is needed once, for setup. - Which controller do I use? A DualSense or DualSense Edge for every feature. With Zen LINK it goes in A3 and the module in A1. Cronus also lists supported Xbox and Switch controllers with Zen LINK. - How long does the bypass take? About a minute once you know it. Controller in A1, Zen on slot 0, unplug the cable from the top of the Zen, hover over Turn Off Accessories, plug the cable back in and straight away hold right on the D-pad for about five seconds. - Why does it disconnect after a while? With Zen LINK, usually rest mode, the controller timeout, or the Wi-Fi. With the bypass, usually a PS5 restart, which means doing the bypass again. ## Cronus Zen Xbox Series X and S setup Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-xbox-series-setup (Lura Editorial, 2026-10-11) Xbox Series X and S are the easiest consoles for the Zen: no module, no Wi-Fi, no pairing. An official or licensed Xbox controller wired to the Zen's A1 port, the Zen wired to the console, and you are done. Ten minutes including the firmware update. ## Why A1 matters on Xbox The Xbox only accepts accessories that can prove they are licensed. The Zen cannot, so it relays the console's challenge to the controller on A1 and passes the answer back. That controller must be an official or licensed Xbox pad and must stay wired for the whole session. It does not have to be the pad you play with, and when you play on a pad made for another console, Cronus asks for an official Xbox Series pad on A1. ## What you need | Item | Note | | --- | --- | | Zen on the current 2.3.x firmware | [Firmware update guide](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update) | | An official or licensed Xbox controller | Wired to A1 with a data cable | | A data cable, Zen to console | Charge-only cables light the Zen and do nothing else | | Optional: the pad you prefer to play with | Wired to A3, or paired through the Xbox wireless adapter on A3 | ## Steps 1. **Firmware first.** Hold the small blue reset button underneath, connect CONSOLE/PC to a PC, release at "Zen Bootloader", run Cronus's web updater in Chrome or Edge. 2. **Console.** Connect the Zen's CONSOLE/PC port to a USB port on the Xbox. Rear ports are steadier than the front one. 3. **A1.** Plug the Xbox pad into A1 and press its Xbox button. The OLED shows the controller within a few seconds. 4. **Optional play pad.** Plug a second pad into A3, or the Xbox wireless adapter into A3 for wireless play. The A1 pad can sit behind the console. 5. **Script.** Load it if you have not: [how to put a script on the Zen](https://www.lura.gg/learn/how-to-put-a-script-on-the-cronus-zen). Select the slot. Test every button in the dashboard before a match. ## What the OLED tells you | OLED reads | Meaning | Fix | | --- | --- | --- | | Waiting for controller | Nothing on A1 is authenticating | Data cable; official or licensed pad; A1 not A3 | | Console not detected | The CONSOLE/PC link is down | Data cable; direct port; console awake | | Low power | The port cannot supply enough current | Direct rear port; remove hubs; the wireless adapter draws a lot | | Slot 0 | No script running | Press the slot button | ## The three things that stop it 1. **A charge-only cable.** Test any cable you are unsure of between a phone and a PC. 2. **An unlicensed pad on A1.** Put an official pad there; play on the other one from A3. 3. **Instant-on.** Waking from instant-on sometimes leaves the Zen unseen. Unplug and replug the CONSOLE/PC cable, or use energy-saving mode. [Script not working](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-script-not-working) is the ordered checklist for everything after the console sees the controller. - Does the Cronus Zen need a module on Xbox? No. Xbox needs only an official or licensed Xbox controller wired to the A1 port. Zen LINK is for PS5. - Can I use a third-party Xbox controller on A1? Yes if it is licensed for Xbox. Cronus lists models from PowerA, Scuf, Razer, Turtle Beach, PDP, Nacon, GameSir and Victrix. Some need a setting changed in their own app first. Unlicensed pads are hit and miss; if yours fails, put an official pad on A1 and play on yours from A3. - Can I play with a PlayStation controller on Xbox through the Zen? Yes. An official Xbox Series pad on A1 to authenticate, DualSense on A3 to play. PlayStation-only features such as the touchpad and adaptive triggers do not carry over. - Does it work on Xbox One? Yes, the same way, with an Xbox One or Series pad on A1. - Does the A1 controller have to stay plugged in? Yes, for the whole session. The console re-checks the licence, and pulling the A1 cable drops the controller within seconds. ## How to put a script on the Cronus Zen Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/how-to-put-a-script-on-the-cronus-zen (Lura Editorial, 2026-09-25) Connect the PC to the Zen's **PROG** port, open Zen Studio Live in Chrome, open the `.gpc` file, compile, program it to a slot, unplug PROG, select the slot on the Zen. Five minutes. The two things that go wrong are a cable that does not carry data and a slot that was never selected, and both are covered below. ## What you need | Item | Note | | --- | --- | | The Zen on current firmware | If the tool offers a firmware update when you connect, take it first. [Firmware update guide](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update) | | A USB cable that carries data | Charge-only cables light the Zen and do nothing else. Test a cable by connecting a phone to the PC with it; if the PC sees the phone, it carries data | | Zen Studio Live in Chrome or Edge, or the desktop app on Windows | Only from Cronus's own site. Mirrors are how people end up with the wrong build | | The script, a `.gpc` file | From your download page after purchase | ## Steps 1. **PROG to the PC.** The rear port next to CONSOLE/PC. The OLED shows the Zen is in programming mode. 2. **Open the tool.** Zen Studio Live at Cronus's site in Chrome or Edge; allow the USB permission prompt and pick the Zen. Or open the desktop app. 3. **Open the file and compile.** Errors at this stage mean the file was saved wrongly by a browser or targets older firmware; download it again. 4. **Program a slot.** Pick a slot from 1 to 8 and program. A progress bar runs for a few seconds; do not unplug until it finishes and the OLED confirms. 5. **Unplug PROG.** Then connect CONSOLE/PC to the console and your controller to the front. Which front port depends on the console: [PS5](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-ps5-setup), [Xbox Series](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-xbox-series-setup). 6. **Select the slot.** Press the Zen's slot button until the OLED shows the number you programmed. The Zen otherwise sits on slot 0, which runs nothing. 7. **Open the script menu** in game with the combination on your download page. ## If the console does not see a controller That is a wiring question, not a script question. On Xbox, an official or licensed Xbox pad must be wired to A1. On PS5, either the Zen LINK module sits in A1 with the pad in A3, or you run the bypass. Charge-only cables are the most common cause on both. The two console guides above cover it; [script not working](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-script-not-working) is the ordered checklist. ## If the script programs but does nothing in game | Check | Fix | | --- | --- | | OLED shows slot 0 | Press the slot button to your slot | | OLED shows the slot, nothing happens | Press the script's activation combo; most scripts wait for it | | Compile warned about firmware | Update the Zen, recompile, program again | | Slot shows empty | Interrupted write; data cable; program again | ## Keep the file A firmware downgrade or a factory reset clears slots. With the `.gpc` on your PC, reprogramming is a two-minute job. Without it, it is a support ticket. - Do I need the desktop Zen Studio or the browser version? Either. Zen Studio Live runs in Chrome or Edge with nothing to install and works on Windows and macOS. The desktop app is Windows only. Both load a script the same way. - Which port do I use to load a script? PROG, the rear port next to CONSOLE/PC. CONSOLE/PC is for play and for firmware. They are not interchangeable. - Do I unplug the PC cable before playing? Yes. Cronus's own guidance is to disconnect the PROG cable before starting a game. The script stays on the Zen. - Why does the slot show empty after I programmed it? The write was interrupted, usually by a charge-only cable. Use a cable you know carries data, program again, and wait for the progress bar to finish. - Where is my LuraNBA or LuraFPS file? On your lura.gg download page after checkout. It is a plain .gpc file; download it once and keep a copy. ## Wired or wireless controller on the Cronus Zen Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/wired-or-wireless-controller-cronus-zen (Lura Editorial, 2026-09-27) Two questions, one answer each. Which pad goes where depends on the console. Whether it can be wireless depends on what you are playing. ## Which pad goes where | Console | A1 | Play pad | | --- | --- | --- | | Xbox Series, Xbox One | Official or licensed Xbox pad, wired; it answers the licence check | Same pad, or any pad on A3 | | PS4 | DualShock 4, wired | Same, or any pad on A3 | | PS5 | Zen LINK module, or the pad if you use the bypass | DualSense or Edge; on A3 with Zen LINK; [PS5 setup](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-ps5-setup) | | Switch | Any supported pad | Nintendo pads by Bluetooth only | | PC | Any supported pad | Same | On Xbox and PS4 the A1 pad must stay wired for the whole session; the console re-checks the licence. It does not have to be the pad in your hands. ## Going wireless | Route | How | For | | --- | --- | --- | | Zen Bluetooth | Press P2 on the Zen; LEDs flash blue; put the pad in pairing mode | PlayStation and Switch pads | | Xbox wireless adapter | Adapter in A3; pad cabled to A2 for a few seconds, then unplugged | Xbox pads | | The pad's own dongle | Dongle in A3 | Third-party pads | Turn the console off before pairing, or the pad reconnects to its last host, the console, instead of the Zen. ## Why timing scripts want a cable The Zen adds a small, constant delay. A calibration measures it and absorbs it. A wireless pad adds delay that varies from moment to moment, and that is the kind a calibration cannot absorb: the release lands early one shot and late the next. | Setup | Delay | Varies | Timing script | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Wired pad | Zen only | No | Yes | | Adapter or dongle | Zen plus radio | A little | Calibrate on this exact setup | | Bluetooth via P2 | Zen plus Bluetooth | More | Not for timing | | PS5 via Zen LINK | Zen plus Wi-Fi | With the network | Wired pad on A3, quiet 2.4 GHz network | Anti-recoil scripts care too: a pull that stutters is worse than no pull. ## What wireless costs An adapter draws more power than a wired pad and is often what tips a marginal console port into the OLED's low-power warning. If a wireless setup drops in and out, plug the Zen directly into the console and remove hubs first. ## Quick reference | You want | Do this | | --- | --- | | Lowest delay | Wired pad; play on it | | Wireless on Xbox | Xbox pad wired on A1; adapter on A3 | | Wireless PlayStation pad | P2 pairing; console off first | | PlayStation pad on Xbox | Xbox pad on A1; DualSense on A3 | | Auto-green or anti-recoil | Wired, always | - Can I play wireless through the Cronus Zen? Yes, as the pad you play with. Pair it with the Zen's P2 button, or use the Xbox wireless adapter on A3. On Xbox and PS4 the authentication pad on A1 must stay wired. - Which controller goes on A1? On Xbox an official or licensed Xbox pad; on PS4 a DualShock 4; on PS5 the Zen LINK module if you use one, with the pad on A3, otherwise the pad; on PC and Switch any supported pad. - Why do timing scripts want a wired pad? A calibration absorbs constant delay. A wireless link adds delay that changes from moment to moment, which no calibration can absorb. - How do I pair a PlayStation pad to the Zen? Press P2 on the Zen, the left large blue button, so the LEDs flash blue; then hold Share and PS on the pad until its light bar flashes. Turn the console off first or the pad reconnects to it instead. - How do I pair an Xbox pad? Not over the Zen's Bluetooth. Plug the Xbox wireless adapter into A3, connect the pad to A2 by cable for a few seconds, then remove the cable. ## Cronus Zen script not working, the five checks Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-script-not-working (Lura Editorial, 2026-09-25) The controller works, the console sees it, and nothing happens when you play. This is almost never a broken script. Work down the five checks; most people stop at the first or second. ## 1. Which slot is the Zen on Read the OLED. If it says slot 0, the Zen is in passthrough and runs nothing. Press the slot button until it shows the number you programmed. A Zen that "stopped working after a reboot" has usually booted into slot 0; set a default slot in Zen Studio so it does not. ## 2. Has the script been activated Most scripts wait for a button combination before they do anything, and some open a menu first. The combo is on your download page. Press it once and watch the OLED or LEDs change. ## 3. Does slot 0 work Switch to slot 0 and play for a minute. If the controller works there, the chain is fine and the problem is in the slot. If it does not work there either, it is wiring, not the script: [PS5 setup](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-ps5-setup), [Xbox setup](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-xbox-series-setup). ## 4. Does the firmware match | Sign | Meaning | Fix | | --- | --- | --- | | Zen Studio warned on compile | The script targets newer firmware | Update the Zen, recompile, program again; [firmware update](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-firmware-update) | | OLED shows a script error | Firmware moved on since the script was compiled | Same | | Used Zen, never updated | Almost certainly old firmware | Same | ## 5. Is the slot actually programmed An interrupted write leaves the slot empty or half-written. Program it again with a cable you know carries data, and wait for the progress bar to finish before unplugging. [How to put a script on the Zen](https://www.lura.gg/learn/how-to-put-a-script-on-the-cronus-zen). ## After a game patch The script was fine last week and does nothing useful now. The game changed. A timing script's stored release and an anti-recoil script's tables are data about the game, and a patch moves them. Load the updated build; LuraNBA and LuraFPS ship one after every patch, and the download page has it. ## Quick reference | Symptom | Most likely cause | First fix | | --- | --- | --- | | Nothing at all | Slot 0 | Press the slot button | | OLED shows the slot, nothing happens | Activation combo not pressed | Press it | | Works on slot 0, not on the script's slot | Script or firmware | Recompile on current firmware | | Slot shows empty | Interrupted write | Program again | | Worked before the patch | Game changed | Updated build | | Settings gone after a power cycle | Script not saved | Save with the script's combo | If all five pass and it still does nothing, Support on lura.gg with the firmware version, the script build and what the OLED shows gets you an answer fastest. - Why does my Cronus Zen script do nothing? Most often the Zen is on slot 0, which runs nothing, or the script is waiting for its activation combo. Check the OLED first. - The controller works but the script does not. Is the script broken? Rarely. If slot 0 controls work, the chain is fine. Slot selection, activation combo, and firmware version are the usual causes. - Why did the script stop working after a game update? The game changed a timing or a recoil value the script relied on. Load the updated build; Lura scripts ship one after every patch. - Why does the slot show empty? The write was interrupted, usually by a charge-only cable. Program it again and wait for the bar. - When should I ask support? When slot 0 controls work, the slot is programmed, firmware matches and the combo does nothing. Send the firmware version, the script build and what the OLED shows. ## What a Cronus Zen script does in NBA 2K, and what it cannot Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/what-a-cronus-zen-script-does-in-nba-2k (Lura Editorial, 2026-09-27) Search "Cronus Zen 100% greens" and you will find people promising it. Here is what a script actually does in NBA 2K, so you can judge what to expect from any script, including ours. ## What the Zen sees The Zen sits between the controller and the console and rewrites controller input. It has no video input. It cannot see the shot meter, the defender, the fatigue bar or the animation. Everything a script does is a pattern of button and stick input on a schedule. ## What a 2K script changes | Feature | What it does | What it depends on | | --- | --- | --- | | Auto-green shooting | You start the shot on the right stick; the script releases it at a stored delay inside the green window | A calibration to your jumpshot, your display and your pad | | Timed dunks and layups | Releases inside the meter window | Calibration | | Dribble macros | One press sends a move chain | Your binds | | Quick-stop and flick shots | Fixed input sequences | Binds | | Infinite stamina | An input pattern the game treats as rest | The game's stamina logic, which patches can change | ## Why nobody greens every shot The release is one input to a green. Before the release, the game has already decided how hard the shot is. | Decided before the release | By | | --- | --- | | Open or contested | Your positioning and the defence | | Shot type and animation | Which button, which stick, which situation | | Fatigue | How long you have been sprinting | | Badges and ratings | Your build | | Green window size | All of the above | A script cannot pick the shot, cannot make a contested shot open, and cannot widen a window the game has narrowed. What it can do is release inside whatever window you were given, every time, which is the part a thumb gets wrong under pressure. Your green rate with a script is your shot selection plus the script's timing. That is why two people with the same script report different numbers, and why anyone quoting one number for everyone is guessing. ## What LuraNBA does about the part it controls | The script's job | How LuraNBA does it | | --- | --- | | Hit the window on your setup | Calibrate once in MyCourt: judge each shot on the D-pad as early, late or green, and the script moves the timing until you have ten greens | | Hold it across shot types | Separate timing for standing shots, for fades to each side, and for quickstops in each run direction | | Hold it after patches | A new build after every 2K patch, free, on your download page | | Stay steady | Runs best with a wired pad, because a wireless link adds a variable delay the calibration cannot absorb | ## The setup that keeps the timing honest | Element | Setting | Why | | --- | --- | --- | | Pad | Wired | Constant delay is calibrated out; variable delay is not | | Zen | Direct into the console, no hub | No power stutter | | Display | Game mode on | The largest delay most people can remove | | Calibration | On the pad and display you play on | The stored delay includes your chain | [Wired or wireless](https://www.lura.gg/learn/wired-or-wireless-controller-cronus-zen) explains the delay point; [script not working](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-script-not-working) covers a script that has stopped greening after a patch. ## What to expect, plainly Better timing on the shots you already take well. Not a different player. If you take good shots and your release is the thing letting you down, a calibrated script fixes exactly that. If you take bad shots, it releases bad shots on time. - Can a Cronus Zen green every shot in NBA 2K? No. A script releases the shot button inside a stored window; it cannot see the meter, the contest or your shot selection. Timing is one input to a green; the rest is you and the game. - What does auto-green actually do? You start the shot and the script releases at a delay calibrated to your jumpshot. It replaces your thumb's release with a measured one. Everything before the release is still your decision. - Why does my green rate depend on me? Because contest, fatigue, shot type, badges and whether you were open are decided before the release. A perfectly timed contested fadeaway is still a contested fadeaway. - Why does the script need calibrating? Every jumpshot has its own release point, and your display and controller add a few milliseconds. A calibration run finds it on your setup. You take open shots in MyCourt and tell the script whether each was early, late or green. - What happens after a patch? If 2K moves shot timing, the stored window is wrong until the script updates. LuraNBA ships a new build after every patch. - Does it work with rhythm shooting on the right stick? Yes. LuraNBA's auto-green is built for right-stick shooting. Button shots have their own feature, Button Tempo. ## What an anti-recoil script does in Call of Duty, and what it cannot Source: https://www.lura.gg/learn/what-an-anti-recoil-script-does-in-call-of-duty (Lura Editorial, 2026-09-28) Anti-recoil is the core of every Call of Duty script and the simplest idea on the Zen: while you fire, the script moves the stick the opposite way to the kick. The work is in getting the amounts right and keeping them right when the game changes. This is what the script does, what it cannot, and where the game's own rules come in. ## What the script does | While fire is held | The script | | --- | --- | | The weapon kicks up | Pushes the right stick down by a stored amount | | The weapon drifts sideways | Pushes sideways by a stored amount | | The pattern changes over the burst | Changes the amount over time | | You release | Stops | The stick input is added to yours. The game sees one stick position. The Zen has no video input, so the script cannot see the target, the enemy or the gun in your hands. ## Where the numbers come from | Value | Depends on | | --- | --- | | Vertical pull | Weapon, attachments, fire rate | | Horizontal pull | Weapon, attachments | | Change over the burst | Weapon | | Your stick | The pull is added to your own aim, so your sensitivity changes how strong it feels | Some scripts ship a table per weapon; others, like LuraFPS, let you set the pull yourself and save it per profile. Either way the numbers are data about the game, and a patch can move them. ## What breaks it | Change | Effect | Fix | | --- | --- | --- | | Weapon balance patch | Values wrong | Recheck the gun on a wall and adjust | | New weapon | No values for it | Set a profile for it on a wall | | Wrong profile selected | Wrong pull | Select the right one; the Zen shows which | | Sensitivity changed in game | Pull too strong or too weak | Retune the pull | | Wireless pad or a hub | Stutter in the pull | Wired, direct; [wired or wireless](https://www.lura.gg/learn/wired-or-wireless-controller-cronus-zen) | ## What LuraFPS adds beyond the pull | Feature | What it is | | --- | --- | | Aim assist | A small circle on the right stick, while aiming, from the hip and while strafing, that keeps the game's controller assist engaged | | Anti-recoil modes | A steady pull, a kick then a pull, or a timeline over the spray, with a spray test that stops it at the end of the magazine; saved per profile | | Drop shot, YY, slide cancel, b-hop | Fixed input sequences on one press | | Rapid fire | A held trigger sent as repeated presses on semi-automatic weapons | None of it sees the screen. All of it is input. ## The game's own rules Publishers set their own rules for third-party accessories and enforce them their own way. Activision's Ricochet team mentioned input devices, including the Cronus Zen, in a February 2026 update, and Respawn made a similar statement for Apex Legends in March 2026. That applies to every script on every device, not one in particular. Whether and where you use one is your call, at your own risk; our [Terms](https://www.lura.gg/terms) cover it. ## Setup that keeps the pull steady | Element | Setting | | --- | --- | | Pad | Wired: on A1 on Xbox; on A3 on PS5 with Zen LINK | | Zen | Direct into the console | | Profile | Matches the gun class in hand | | Test | On a wall in a private match after every patch | [Script not working](https://www.lura.gg/learn/cronus-zen-script-not-working) covers a script that has gone quiet after an update. - What does anti-recoil do on a Cronus Zen? While you hold fire it pushes the right stick against the weapon's kick by stored amounts, so the aim point stays where you put it. It does not aim; it counters recoil. - Does the script know which gun I am holding? No. You pick the profile or values for the gun you run. Pick the wrong one and it pulls the wrong amount. LuraFPS keeps three profiles, one per gun class if you like. - Why did anti-recoil stop working after an update? A balance patch changed the weapon's recoil, so your values no longer match it. Recheck the gun on a wall and adjust the pull. - What is aim assist boost? Small stick movement that keeps the game's controller aim assist engaged. It shapes the input the game already gives controllers; it adds nothing the game does not have. - Has Activision said anything about the Cronus Zen? Yes. Its Ricochet team mentioned input devices including the Cronus Zen in a February 2026 update. Game publishers set their own rules for third-party accessories, and whether you use one is your call. Our Terms cover this.
